1. Introductory framework
1.1. This Policy governs the manner in which Tapsim ("Processor", "Company", "we", "us") processes personal data of natural and/or legal persons who access, register, purchase or otherwise use eSIM services under the Tapsim brand ("User", "you").
1.2. The Policy applies to all User interactions with: (i) the https://tapsim.net website, (ii) the Tapsim mobile application (Expo environment), and (iii) service channels (email, support system, chat).
1.3. The authentic, legally binding version is this one in the English language, in the Latin alphabet; translations are informative.
2. Identity of the data controller
2.1. Tapsim acts as a data controller within the meaning of the UK GDPR.
2.2. Questions or complaints can be directed to our Privacy Lead at [email protected]. The company has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as its core activities do not involve the processing of large volumes of special categories of data.

We do not process precise geo-locations; IMSI data remains with partner eSIM providers.

5. Cookies and related technologies
5.1. We use the following groups of cookies:
mandatory – e.g. PHPSESSID, wp_woocommerce_session_* (site functionality), CSRF tokens;
statistical – Google Analytics (_ga, _gid, _gat);
Marketing - Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc).
The AppsFlyer SDK is only deployed on the mobile app, not on the WordPress/WooCommerce site.
5.2. You can block unnecessary cookies through your browser settings or cookie management banner on your first visit; it may affect personalization and functionality.
5.3. You can see detailed information about each cookie through the browser tools or in the cookie banner; a separate cookie table is not published.
6. Recipients of data

7. International transfers
7.1. Primary data storage and processing is done within the EEA.
7.2. Statistical data collected by Google Analytics and Meta Pixel may be transferred to the USA. Such transfers are based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) with the UK Addendum, thus ensuring an adequate level of protection.
8. Storage period
invoices and transaction records - up to 7 years (taxes and auditing);
registration data without purchase - deleted after account deletion;
aggregated analytical reports - retained in pseudonymized form; detailed raw logs are not archived.
9. Technical and organizational measures
We implement TLS 1.2+ encryption in transport, AES-256 data-at-rest encryption, strict access control (RBAC), and 2FA for administrative accounts, with continuous audit logging.
10. Automated decision-making
Stripe implements its own risk assessment algorithms; it may result in transaction rejection. The company has no influence on such a decision nor can it offer an alternative payment method in the event of a rejected transaction.
11. Rights of respondents
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection to marketing. You send the request to [email protected]; we will reply within 1 month. Administrative fees are not charged.
12. Children
The service is not intended for persons under the age of 18. If we discover that we are processing a child's data without parental consent, we delete the data without delay.
13. Changes to the Policy
We may amend this Policy by posting a new version at https://tapsim.net/privacy-policy ; the amended version shall enter into force on the date of publication.
